This series is about the relationships of people living in the East End of London.The show is on air at 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.

Some of the characters are Peggy,Phil,Pat,Stacy,Ian and Dawn.They live in Albert Square and eat,drink and have fun at their favourite pub,The Queen Victoria,or ''The Vic''.
The episodes are sometimes romantic and sometimes funny or tragic.

EastEnders is a very popular British soap opera and wins an award every year.

I guess I was about thirteen when I had my first crush on a boy.He came to school late in the year.He was very clever.That’s why I was interested in being his friend.He wore glasses so he had to sit up front.Normally I sat up with a girl but the girl moved to another desk.And guess Who moved into that seat?The new boy!I thought he was fascinating! I found out his name.It was Andy Brown.I had to share my book with him for the day.I started meeting him after school.I was in love! We started to walk a round hand in hand and I was very excited.But when my mother saw me him,I felt very embarrassed.

Five months later, I still felt weak and had terrible muscle aches. I went to a doctor. By the help of an MRI-machine, the doctor found the cause of my problem.MRI means magnetic resonance imaging. An MRI machine takes pictures and shows them on a computer. It uses radio waves to see inside the body.

I feel exhausted at the end of the day.


Driving without a break is very tiring.

I can drive without effort.

In the dining room,Victorian people used to cover the floor with a carpet with a design of roses or lilac.You can see very large windows and curtains with a design of roses.Sofa tables usually used to be oval in shape and the chairs used to be covered with satin and oval in shape too.

As ladies,we always used to be careful with our manners.

We always used to wear elegant clothes but they were very uncomfortable.Women today wear comfortable clothes.

Perhaps it was a cat or may be it was Just a dream.Things like that happen,you know...For example,we had a report on an alien sighting last week,then it turned,out to be a dog.And ermm... a woman called us yesterday and she said she saw UFO but it was actually a kite.

I think I saw a strange creature.
A what?
A big strange creature.

Erm...This evening.I think.... I was about half an hour ago.
And where did you see it!
In the garden,among the trees.I was in bed.. trying to sleep when I heard a noise.

Yes,when I heard the noise,I got up and looked out of the window.
And you saw the strange creature.Right?
Exactly.Then it ran away.
Was there anybody else at home?Did anybody else see creature?
My brother,Trevor and his friend,Greg were at home but they didn't see anything.I think they were asleep in Trevor's bedroom.
